I want my grandmother and yours to have at least 10 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber if thugs break down the door, no more incidents like the one in Frewsburg, I want to read that the homeowner WON.

The employees will still get their retirement benefits and the new owners will need trained employees to run the place. The only thing that will change is the County will be saving $$. The only change for the employees is they won't be receiving the County benefits of health insurance and retirement. Let's wake up Legislatures vote to sell this time!! It's what the people want!

I am still amazed that some of these newly elected legislators make the same ridiculous statements as the former ones. "Jobs will be lost with privitization". Ms Keefe, can you explain this inaccurate statement? The new owners will still need employees to run the place. And in fact, with private money there is always a chance for expansion, updates, new services, etc that may increase jobs. The fact of the matter is this home costs the tax payers over $3 million dollars a year. You want less government, prove it by voting yes to sell.

For the last several years County Hope proponents have stated that the Home can operate without taxpayer support; so why hasn't the home done anything to get to a break-even basis during that time. Promises have to show positive results. yet we've seen none.
