Just curious...how old are you if you use the word "awesome" to describe this letter? It's not the Grand Canyon.

It's "you're" bobbo. Not "your". I learned that in school before all the do-gooders took over the system.

It is an awesome letter. It is an explanation of RTi and how to reduce special education needs by providing services sooner, more effectively and if not then special education route. But read the responses and from a previous article; the boogie man and the bad people don't know what they are doing. I read too many of theses response from the city town and village idiots. Keep quiet your embarrassing us as humans and our county too.

No 50s. It's a "cover your a s s" way of getting kids who belong in special ed. the services they need.

If RtI works, then what is the problem? Every child is unique with his or her own learning abilities. I say educators should utilize whatever means available in order to encourage learning. Great letter!

Just a few words, involuntary actions reflex, temperament conditioning, memory implantation, Classical Conditions, reprogramming the mind through Classical conditioning so the child elicits the required or wanted behavior, is not an instructional practice, prevention oriented approach, linked to assessment and instruction, quick and efficient response to behavior problems, undesired behavior not defined , tracking via Longitudinal systems. And last but not least , A SYSTEM OF INCREASED INTENSITY, RATCHETED UP TO FORCE WANTED BEHAVIOR! HOW IS THAT FOR STARTERS IN THE response to Intervention program? Oh NYS has five levels other states may have up to seven levels of intensity. Sounds great for children begining in pre school and up.. ! I’ll bet you can’t wait to put your child in school this fall.

Maybe I'm being too critical. Does this letter say you keep trying until you dumb down enough to get those who don't give any effort to pass?
