Giving Ideology To The Children

The adults in Germany in 1935 were surprised at how many of their children joined the Hitler Jugend – over half of all youth under 18 years old became enthusiastic members of the volunteer (until 1939) organization. “Whoever has the youth has the future,” Hitler had written. And perhaps he got the idea from Vladimir Lenin who earlier wrote, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” Mao, of course, thought the same thing in his use of children in 1966 in the “Cultural Revolution” he instigated. Mao used youth’s naivetÈ and fanaticism against his perceived enemies: foolish children were given free reign in universities, hospitals, schools, and government to humiliate, incarcerate or eliminate those who were suspected or actual deniers (of the party line).

The ideological use of children is not limited to dictatorships. Consider NY State Sen. Todd Kaminsky’s proposed “Climate Change Literacy” law (SB 6837).

His legislation calls for “…climate change education…to advance climate change literacy in young people…by providing this education, students will be prepared to understand and address the impact of global warming.”

“Literacy” as defined by this Law obviously means indoctrinating children in the ideology of anthropogenic “global warming”: that the industrial world is responsible; that carbon dioxide, a beneficial trace gas in our atmosphere, is a pollutant and is causing an appreciable rise in global temperature; and that the planet can only recover if fossil fuels are left in the ground.

To the impressionable child, this translates into something like, “in 12 years we’re all doomed” (unless we implement the Green New Deal, etc.).

The United Nations is the driver of this anti-capitalist (socialist) climate ideology.

The 25th UN climate alarmism conference, COP 25 in Madrid, Spain (Dec 2 – Dec 13), says “global temperatures are on pace to rise as much as 3.2 degrees Celsius (5.8 degrees Fahrenheit) by the end of the century.”

Reflecting their uncertainty, the UN uses weasel words. “on pace” and “as much as.”

And yet they are certain that the industrialized world must pay four times as much money as previously assessed to curb carbon dioxide emissions – must pay penalties as they

Gov. Cuomo’s “Climate and Community Protection Act of 2019” (purportedly authored by Kaminsky. a first-term Long Island lawyer) mandates a drastic overhaul of not just the State’s energy systems but is a massive social engineering (a la the UN’s parallel operation, Agenda 21) and enforcement program to get people to believe that as their standard of living is lowered they will have helped save the planet, just as their increasingly brainwashed children are telling them. In the ideology promulgated by Kaminsky and Cuomo, skepticism is misguided, even criminal, verboten.

The state is in the process of creating shock troops to implement its dystopian agenda.
