Reader Thankful For Kind Holiday Gesture

To The Reader’s Forum:

Having attended a meaningful parade and cemetery remembrance service in the hamlet of Kennedy, I decided to stop at the Second Street Tim Horton’s for my usual coffee, bagel and reading time. As I was about to leave a couple entered and offered me a tasty treat. Having just finished one I thanked them for their generous offer. As they left, we exchanged a few comments and they “wished me well” on this Memorial Day and left a gift card on my little library table.

Whoever you are, my most sincere thank you goes out to you. It will be enjoyed. Truly God works in mysterious ways.
