Love In the Name of Christ is a ministry in the greater Jamestown area that serves those in need and under-resourced with the support of many of the area churches. Back in August, Love INC had to relocate their office from 31 Water Street at the Gateway Center to 553 West 3rd Street. With the move came many unexpected expenses. With the recent change in the weather, the need for assistance with snow plowing became very evident. A volunteer shoveled the very first snowfall. After placing a post on the Love INC Facebook page requesting assistance, we have been blessed with snow plowing and snow shoveling angels. Upon arrival at work the very next day, the parking lot was plowed and some shoveling angels maintained it throughout the day. As our Facebook post was viewed over 1200 times, angels continued to step in to help. Last Friday morning, after shoveling the lot for over an hour, the plow driver who was clearing the lot across the street stepped in and cleared the remainder of the lot. Upon arrival for work that same day, a message was received from a local business who offered to provide plowing service free of charge for Love INC. Seeing many known and unknown individuals stepping up to help an organization in need, that helps those in need is a true example of loving your neighbor. Thank you to the angels in the Jamestown community your work is greatly appreciated.
