Rep. Tom Reed is one of the members of Congress — Paul Ryan being another — whose family, as a child, depended on public assistance in the form of Social Security benefits.
It is imperative that his constituents demand from this member of the Trump transition team, a clear and unequivocal statement from him that he will not support efforts by Speaker Ryan to sabotage President-Elect Trump’s many and explicit promises not to substantially change or diminish Social Security benefits, or the Medicaid and Medicare programs so many depend on in the Southern Tier.
