To the Readers’ Forum:

When we received The Post-Journal on election day, we expected to see another round of negative articles by the candidates. to our great surprise and amazing pride, the front page shows photos and a wonderful article about Mark Cardinale and his performance at the Ironman competition in Hawaii. Not only is Mark a wonderful person and great athlete, he is our son-in-law.

Mark’s dedication and commitment to his sport is outstanding and it has paid off in big dividends for him. I had talked to Scott Kindberg prior to the event in  Hawaii and expected some type of mention in the paper. the article by The Post-Journal was beyond our expectations and we would like to thank you and extend a very special thanks to Scott.
