Sharon R. (Carr) Craumer

Mrs. Craumer was born June 28, 1939 in Randolph the daughter of the late Earl Raymond and Joyce Anna (McElwain) Carr,

She was a 1957 graduate of Randolph Central School.

At the time of her retirement from Bovis Construction Company based in Atlanta, she had been the Company secretary and office manager. In addition to being a Home Maker, Sharon had worked jobs at the former Ben Franklin Store, Cooperative Insurance Company of WNY and Twi-Lite Lanes Bowling alley, all in Randolph, NY.

She was a member of the Randolph First Baptist Church in Randolph and had attended churches at many of the locations she and Bill had lived. Sharon enjoyed her family and grandchildren, raising and caring for horses and bowling.

She is survived by a son; Jeffrey Craumer of Steamburg and his late wife Margaret Skye, two daughters; Debra McGuigan of Port Richey, FL and her late husband Donald, Monica Meacham and husband Dan of East Randolph, Eight grandchildren, Brandi Robinson, Jessica Meacham, Shannon Viens, Amber Harper, Chantel McGuigan, JasonCraumer, Casey Craumer and Sterling Skye, 17 great grandchildren, a sister, Earlyn Hall and her late husband Dick, and nephew Tom Hall, both of Kennedy.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Eral and Joyce and her husband, William F. “Bill” Craumer, whom she married on February 23, 1957 and who passed away on April 15, 2011.

Private services will be held in the VAN RENSSELAER and SON FUNERAL HOME, 14 Church Street, Randolph. Monica Craumer Meacham will officiate. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
