Elaine J. “Midget” Kennedy

She was born Nov. 25, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y., a daughter of the late John and Florence Mozdziak Lacki.

Midget had formerly been employed by Anderson Precision in Jamestown and was a member of the Celoron Moose and Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association.

She is survived by her husband, Francis B. Kennedy Jr., whom she married April 19, 2008, after 22 years together; three children: Jody (Tim) Vine of Kennedy, N.Y., Maria (Don) Rosage of Leesburg, Fla., and David (Silver) Ho of Irvine, Calif.; and four stepchildren: Michael (Lena) Kennedy, Melissa (Al) Sheldon and Steven Kennedy, all of Jamestown, and Stephanie (Mike) Browning of Wellsville, N.Y. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Adam (Randi) Vine, Alexis (Erik) Possai, Shyanne Wood and Grayson Ho; two great-grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; and her siblings: John Lacki, Eugene Lacki, Theresa Fry and Patty Cummings.

Along with her parents, Midget was preceded in death by a sister, Marcia Goodwill.

Following her wishes, no service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date to be announced.
