Charles D. Bonta

Charles D. Bonta, 69, of Jamestown, N.Y., formerly of Boca Raton, Fla.,, passed away at 10:19 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born April 28, 1952, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of the late Angelo S. Bonta and the late Mildred G. Condon Bonta.

Chuck was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School, where he was a member of the Braw Caddie Clan Fraternity. He will be remembered for his love of cars, especially his Porsche and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

While living in Florida for over 30 years, he was employed as a headhunter and also was a salesman for the Coral Springs Auto Mall in Coral Springs, Fla. In earlier years he worked with his father as owners of ASB Industries.

Surviving are his children; Charley (Amy) Bonta of Jamestown, N.Y., Chad (Stephanie) Bonta of Wellington, Fla., and Alysha Bonta of Deerfield Beach, Fla., nine grandchildren; Kayla, Christopher, Ayden, Chase, Devin, Madison, Ashlyn, Payton and Hailey, a great-granddaughter, Sophia; a sister, Francesca M. Bonta of Jamestown; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother who died March 18, 2011, and his father who died Dec. 31, 2020.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
