Larry Joe Babcock

He was born Dec. 6, 1955 in Warren, Pa. the son of the late Elwyn and Edith Carlson Babcock.

Larry was a 1974 graduate of Falconer High School and recently retired from Black Stone Advanced Technology, and was employed with Crawford’s furniture for 38 years.

He was the “life of the party” everywhere he went, and when nights ended, you probably heard him say “I can’t feel my legs”. He was loved by all of his family and friends.

Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, the outdoors, golf, riding his Harley. He was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan and loved President Donald Trump and stood behind his President, “Making America Great Again.” Larry Babcock will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Connie E. Caldwell Babcock of Falconer, whom he married Feb. 14, 1983, in Falconer; two daughters: Stephanie Jo Babcock-Reichardt (Ron) of Jamestown, and Lisa Babcock (Jon Ross) of Falconer; a grandson, Alex Babcock; a brother, Lee (Diane) Babcock of Ellington; a sister, Dawn (Randy) English of Russell, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Betty “Gigi” Berglund of Falconer; Bandit their loved, but a pain in the butt dog; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Henry Berglund; his dog, Katie May; and his granddog Buster Joe which he spoiled as well.

Visitation will not be observed.

A celebration of life which will be “A Party” will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Breezewood Links in Falconer.
