Ronald L. Johnson

Ronald L. Johnson, 81, of 211 Fredrick Blvd, Jamestown, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the home of his daughter in Jamestown.

He was born May 27, 1939, in Bradford, Pa., a son of the late John “Leonard” and Alma Grant Johnson.

He was a 1957 graduate of Smethport High School and attended Alfred State College.

His career began at B.F. Goodrich and then B&E Electric. Prior to his retirement he was general manager of Electrical Products Unlimited and after retirement was a driver for Chautauqua Institution for 14 years.

He was a member of Viking Male Chorus, Moose Lodge, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Kiantone Volunteer Fire Department and Chautauqua County Fire Police.

Surviving is his wife Sharon Boyer Johnson, whom he married April 13, 1962; four children: Lars Johnson, Lisa DePane and Lori (Brad) Patton Sr., all of Jamestown, Lynn (Ricky) Sizemore of Woodbury, Tenn,; Papa to Casey (Kevin) Childs of Gastonia, N.C., Nicki Riquer of Cramerton, N.C., Ethan Johnson of Ashville, N.Y., Eli Johnson of Ashville, N.Y., Kayla (Marc) Bohall of Steamburg, N.Y., Emily DePane of Jamestown, Brittany, Brianna and Jesse Patton. all of Minerva, Ohio, Bradley Patton Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla., Chris (Shannon) Sizemore of Woodbury, TN and Michael (Brandi) Sizemore of Columbia, Tenn.; great-grandchildren: CJ, Pandora, Aly, Trinity, Joshua, Addison, Bohen, Bentley, Nathan, Matthew and Michael; and a sister ,Val Jean McCracken.

A walkthrough visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home where face masks must be worn, and social distancing observed.

A private service will be held for the family and may be viewed at www. facebook.com/lindfuneral homeinc/ beginning at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
