Molly O. Cozad

She was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Merton L. and Irene Emley Harwood.

She was a 1963 graduate of Pine Valley High School in Cherry Creek and enjoyed attending garage sales, second hand stores. Molly enjoyed puzzles and loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Delos M. Cozad of Silver Creek, whom she married June 23, 2000 in Texas; her children: Stephanie (James) Linger of Sherman, N.Y., David Babcock of Silver Creek, N.Y., Morris (Xian Li) Babcock of Ayer, Mass., Melissa (Matthew) Ciardello of Silver Creek, N.Y.; step children: Amy Weaver of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Julie Gould of Castle Rock, Colo.; grandchildren; Emily, David, Stephen, Michaeljon, Jacob, Kristina, Angela, Adam, Elizabeth, Tabatha, Brian, Christina, Melody and Layla; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister Delores Thompson of Falconer; and many nieces and nephews and cousins,

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Savanna Babcock; a sister, Carolyn Van Ausdall; and brothers: Jon and Stephen G. Harwood.

Her funeral service will be 7 p.m. Monday (April 26, 2021) in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy of Kennedy United Methodist Church will officiate. Due to CDC requirements and Covid-19 guide lines face masks and socially distancing will be required.

Friends will be received by the family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
