Cindy R. Winterberger

Born Dec. 17, 1956 in Dunkirk, a daughter of Edwin and Marie Elliott Mekus. She was a 1975 graduate of Fredonia Central School.

Cindy was employed at McDonalds and Ames Department Store in the 70s, Dunkirk Ice cream during the 80s and Cassadaga Shur-Fine in the 90s.

Cindy dedicated herself to the restoration of their large Victorian home near the four corners of Gerry and enjoyed gardening.

Wife of 44 years to Ralph E., whom she married July 30, 1977; mother of Nathan (Erica) and Andrew; grandmother of Leo and Nora Winterberger; sister of Michael, Christopher and Garrett Mekus. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be he;d frpm 4-7p.m. Tuesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville with funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredonia.
