Robert D. Juul

Robert D. Juul, 88, of Youngsville, P.A. and formerly of Springville, N.Y., passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, P.A.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1932 in Jamestown, N.Y.; a son to the late Oskar W. and Doris M. (Anderson) Juul. Robert graduated from Jamestown High School and then served in the US Air Force. He owned and managed bakeries most of his life and was proud of attaining the rare title of Master Baker. Along with baking, Robert enjoyed gardening, fishing and trapping.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia Juul of Youngsville and David (Lee Ann) Juul of Branchville, N.J.; his step-children, Tom Bullock and Marjorie Omalyev; a daughter-in-law, Carol Juul, his siblings, Jack, Beverly and Kenneth Juul; his grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, David, Joseph, Shari, Wendy and Wyatt and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Hyldahl) Juul, his companion and long time friend, Shirley Davie, a son, Ronald Juul and two brothers, Richard and Donald Juul.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, N.Y.
