Rosalie A. Fiorella (Blomquist)

Rosalie A. Fiorella (Blomquist), 77, formerly of 12 Fairfield Ave. in Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at UPMC Chautauqua, as she completed a two month battle with the COVID-19 Virus.

Rosalie was born in Jamestown on November 28, 1943, a daughter of the late Ross and Rose Pappalardo Fiorella. After graduating from Jamestown High School, she attended the Continental School of Beauty Culture in Olean, receiving her cosmetology license.

For many years, Rosalie was the manager of the former F.H. Loeffler Co. which became CosmoProf in Jamestown. She also en-joyed bartending and socializing with friends at the former ‘The Etc.’ in James-town, and especially en-joyed time with her best friend, Priscilla Anzalone Dain.

A hard working single mother, she was an avid reader, and she loved cook-ing and being with her family. She was never happier than when spending time with her granddaughter Elise, whom she adored.

Surviving is her son, James A. Blomquist and granddaughter, Elise J. Blomquist, both of James-town; a sister, Theresa LoGuidice and two nieces, Toni Marie Sigular and Gina Gazdak, all of James-town; as well as several grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Anthony P. LoGuidice.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
