Roberta A. Skeels

She was born Oct. 13, 1946, in Battle Creek, Mich., the daughter of the late John and Genevieve (Champlin) Eckburg.

Mrs. Skeels was em-ployed for many years at Luminite in Salamanca, N.Y., and at ERA in El-licottville, N.Y. She was a member of the Little Valley Vol. Fireman’s Women’s Auxiliary and the Little Valley American Legion. She enjoyed her time with her family and her time and lunches with her friends.

Mrs. Skeels is survived by two sons, Brett (Karen) Skeels of Cattaraugus, N.Y. and Adam (Trina Dowdy) Skeels of New Albion, N.Y.; and three grandchil-dren: Kodie, Chantel and Bridgett; and three great–grandchildren: Caleb, Dawson and Caden.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dale Skeels in 2012.

Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley, N.Y., on Sa-turday, Jan. 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. from the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Trenchard officiating.

Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
