David Griswold

Born March 1, 1955, son of the late Ralph and Marie Griswold, he worked at a variety of places from dairy and beef farming to work-ing at the Peek ‘n Peak and selling firewood. Dave’s hobbies have included hunting, cutting wood, spending time at the “camp”, snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. Kids and dogs were naturally drawn to him and he en-joyed both.

Dave is survived by his sisters: JoAnn Westpfahl (Dick) of Mayville, Sharon Fisher (Thomas) of Clymer, Jessie Griswold (Roger Read) and Beverly Davis (late Charles), both of Sherman, as well as one brother, Floyd Griswold, also of Sherman and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Charles Griswold in 2007, Richard Griswold (late Ina) in 2014, James Griswold in 1987, Thomas Griswold in 2017 and Robert Griswold in 2006.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Stanley Hose Co., P.O. Box 574, Sherman, N.Y. 14781 or the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy, Amherst, N.Y. 14228. Arrangements are entrusted to the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, N.Y.
