Beatrice L. Telford Angelo
Beatrice Louise “Tillie” Telford Angelo, age 100, of the Magnolia, Frews-burg, N.Y., formerly of 148 Park St., Jamestown, N.Y., passed away at 7:55 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, in the Absolut Care of Westfield, Westfield, N.Y.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Nov. 15, 1920, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late C. Er-nest and Cecelia H. Nelson Carlson.
She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and the Edward J. Meyer Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (ECMC).
Before her retirement, she worked as a registered nurse for WCA Hospital (UPMC Chautauqua) for 35 years. After her retire-ment in 1985, she enjoyed traveling the United States, especially Hawaii. She also traveled to Europe and a special trip was to Sweden to see the birthplace of her parents.
Surviving are two sons; Charles (Jerrilyn) Telford of Jamestown, N.Y., and Michael (Marti) Telford of Kennedy, N.Y.; and a daughter, Cheryl (Dwain) Fugate of Corry, Pa.; nine grandchildren: Robert Tel-ford of Sunnyvale, Calif., Richard (Amanda) Telford of Sinclairville, N.Y., Ryan (Jennifer) Telford of Norwich, Conn; Sean (Em-ily) Macey of Davenport, Iowa, Todd Macey of Geor-gia, Kevin (Onala) Telford of Crofton, Md., Robin (Matt) Foreman of Dublin, Calif., Hope (JT) Harrold of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Haleigh (Josh) Redington of Maple Valley, Wash.; 15 great-grandchildren; and a stepson, Don (Sue) Angelo of Jamestown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Lewis Telford Sr.; her second husband, Dominic Angelo; and her brother, Richard Carlson of Califor-nia
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
