Judy Lynn McChesney

A lifelong area resident, she was born May 11, 1944, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Marvin C. and Gundborg J. Sanderson Neathery.

Judy was a 1962 graduate of Jamestown High School and had worked at many local bars and restaurants for over 28 years. Prior to retirement, she was employed by TOPS Markets.

She was a member of the Falconer Moose Lodge and former member of the Falconer Horseshoe Club. She had pitched in several state and local horseshoe tournaments.

Surviving are two sons: Kevin McChesney (Lesley Miller) of Kiantone and Bradley H. McChesney of Mayville.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian L. McChesney in 1970; a brother, Paul H. Carlson in 2001; and her longtime companion Kenyon W. “Hoppy” Hopkins in 2015.

As per Judy’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
