Paul T. Anderson

Paul T. Anderson, 76, of Frewsburg, passed away Monday, (Sept. 14, 2020) at Lutheran Retirement Home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Jamestown, the son of Theodore and Margaret Moore Anderson.

Paul was co-owner of the former Barone’s Meat Market and owned and operated The Train Station in North Warren for many years. He had also worked for Sysco Cash and Carry in Falconer.

Paul was a longtime member of the Wheeler Hill Church, a member of the Frewsburg American Legion and Lakewood Rod and Gun.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and catering special events. He loved sports, particularly bowling. He was also involved in coaching Little League baseball in Frewsburg

Paul is survived by his two children: Michael (Courtney) Anderson of Lakewood and Melissa (James) Peppy of Manassas, Va.; four grandchildren: Caleb and Abigail Anderson and Maggie and Joey Peppy; a brother, Burt (Kathy) Anderson of Frewsburg and Mint Hill, N.C.; and two sisters: Marilyn (Wayne) Anderson of Eden, N.Y., and Janice Anderson of Erie, Pa.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, Jerry Anderson.

The funeral service will be private. Paul’s son, the Rev. Michael Anderson, pastor of Family Church of Cattaraugus County will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

Masks are required.
