Richard Ellsworth Graham

Richard Ellsworth Graham, 76, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday (Aug. 6, 2020) in UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Hornell, N.Y., the son of the late Harold and Unice Graber Moore Graham.

Richard was a graduate of high school in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960-62 in Germany. In earlier years, he owned Grahams Automotive Used Cars which he enjoyed and enjoyed being a mechanic. He also owned Night Owl Publisher.

Richard loved his family, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He enjoyed drag racing, race cars, street cars and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Anna M. (Wasyl) Graham of Jamestown, whom he married April 9, 1963, in Dillon, S.C.; four sons: Richard Edward Graham of Jamestown, Donald (Holly) Graham of Amherst, N.Y., Michael Graham of Buffalo, N.Y., and Stephen (Kelly) Graham of Jamestown; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren; three brothers: Rodger Graham of Bath, N.Y., Roy Graber and Eric Graber; two sisters: Melody Eaton of Rochester, N.Y., and Kathy Covell of Corning, N.Y.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Graham; his sisters: Eva Grim and Patty Graber; brother, Arthur Graham; and stepdad, Roy Graber.

Visitation will not be ob-served.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (Aug, 14, 2020) in Allen Cemetery (Willard St. Ext.). Pastor Timothy D. Phelps, chaplain of Chau-tauqua County Hospice and Palliative Care will officiate. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.
