Dolores M. Maynard

KENNEDY, N.Y. — Dolores M. Maynard, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, in Lakewood, N.Y., of na-tural causes.

She was born April 8, 1937, in Bradford, Pa., the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Saulsgiver) Campbell. Dolores was a 1955 graduate of Mayville High School and retired in 2002 from Truck-Lite in Falconer, N.Y.

Dolores and her late hus-band, Richard had attended the First Baptist Church of Randolph. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, crocheting and playing cards, especial-ly Poker.

Surviving are four sons; Mike Maynard, with whom she shared a home in Ken-nedy, Randy Maynard of Gerry, Steven Maynard and wife, Kimberly of Puryear, Tenn., and Dan Maynard and wife, Vicki of Fremont, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two si-blings: Richard Campbell and wife, “Babe” of James-town and Jean “Peach” Anderson and husband, Clair of Randolph.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine; hus-band, Richard I. Maynard, whom she married on Feb. 11, 1956, and who preced-ed her on Oct. 5, 1988; stepfather, Glenn “Bud” Morrison; a great- grand-daughter; and si-blings: Donald and James Campbell.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 Wednesday, (Aug. 5, 2020) from the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Ran-dolph, N.Y. Social distanc-ing and masks are required.

Funeral services will be held for the family and close friends on Thursday at 11 a.m., from the First Baptist Church of Ran-dolph. The Rev. Mike Herdzik, pastor of New Be-ginnings Baptist Church in Kennedy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
