Richard C. “Dick” Damon

He was born at home on Jan. 1, 1937, a son of the late Gerald and Doris Fisher Damon.

Dick was a 1956 graduate of Panama Central School and was a communicant of Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church in Panama.

He was a self employed carpenter and had a great love for his horses.

Dick is survived by his wife, Ann M. DeMeyer Damon; three children: Craig Damon of Niobe, Cheryl (John) Robson of Gainesville, Va., and Lynn Damon of Buffalo; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and two sisters: Marlene Cotter of Jamestown and Kate Herskind of Orchard Park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Wiltsie; and a brother, Vincent Damon.

Visitation will not be observed.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, in the Niobe Cemetery.
