Nancy J. Morrison, 80, of Mead Road in Jamestown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at UPMC Pittsburgh, with family by her side.

She was born Jan. 27, 1940, in Warren, Pa., a daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha Park Quiggle, and was a graduate of Warren Area High School.

She met her husband, James E. Morrison and they were married Nov. 22, 1958. Together they raised five beautiful children. Nancy was a stay at home mom who taught her children many valuable lessons in life. In her younger years, she enjoyed her time going camping and to drive-in movies, Sunday dinners with the family, as well as dancing.

Later in life, she loved being a grandmother and enjoyed her dogs: Abby and Molly, bird watching and tooling around her property in her golf cart. She also looked forward to a good shopping spree.

Surviving are three children: Patricia Morrison Giambrone (George) of Jamestown, Karen Trainello of Busti, and James Morrison (Josie) of New Mexico; two step-daughters: Tammy Brunecz (Nick) of Busti and Pam McLaughlin (Dan) of Tidioute, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Sally Quiggle Brooks of Jamestown and Beverly Quiggle Eldridge (Ted) of Warren; and a brother, Roger Quiggle (Diane) of Sanford, N.C.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, who died Dec. 24, 2006; a daughter, Suzanne Morrison Brubaker; a son, Scott Morrison; a sister, Marge Quiggle Singer; and three brothers: Don, Bill and George Quiggle.

Observing the COVID-19 restrictions per New York State, face masks are required and regarding room capacity for funeral homes, the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private family funeral service will follow visitation, officiated by Laurie Decker. Burial will be in Busti Cemetery.
