Diman Wellington Smith

Diman Wellington Smith, 3, of Sinclairville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020.

He was born Jan. 31, 2017, in Jamestown a son of Diman Walter and Kimberly Jo (Hitchcock) Smith.

Diman was a beautiful, smart boy that captured the hearts of any he met. He loved animals and wanted to be a farmer and an astronaut when he grew up. He loved tools and anything that has tires. Diman wanted to know how everything worked. His favorite thing was driving his tractor or Gator around for hours. He was his father’s best friend and tag along. He was always laughing or dancing with his sisters. Going to one or both of his grandma’s houses was a must, every day. Diman always wanted to fish when we went to “The Pond” He loved bedtime stories every night with Mommy and Daddy. But, you had to do the voices. He was the sweetest boy and always asked ”Are you happy?”… “I’m happy!” ”smiles”. He was a lifelong member of The Sons of the American Legion family at Cassadaga Post 1280.

Brother of Ashlynn and Quinn Smith; grandson of Diman Todd and Lou Ann (Scolton) Smith and Vicki Lynn (Derby) Pratt, all of Sinclairville and David Kelly Hitchcock of Cherry Creek. Nephew of Jennifer Diers, Lisa O’Neil, Michelle Hitchcock-Dellahoy and Ivory Smith. Also survived by many cousins, great–aunts and uncles and great-grand- parents.’

He was preceded in death by his great- grandmother, Louisa Smith.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.

A graveside service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville at 11 a.m., Saturday. Social distancing and masks are required.
