COLDSPRING — Dawn A. Lindell, 63, of Gulf Road, Town of Coldspring, passed away Monday, (June 29, 2020) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.

She was born June 17, 1957, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Anthony and Margot (Daush) Valvo. She attended Kenmore West High School in Kenmore, N.Y. Dawn had been employed by The Q in Jamestown, N.Y.

Dawn was confirmed in the Catholic faith in her youth, she currently enjoyed playing in local pool leagues and will be remembered as a friend, care giver and Ma or Mom to countless people who she saw the best in and touched their lives.

She is survived by her companion of 23 years, Shawn Burch of Coldspring; two sons: Justin (Eva Masters) Lindell of Bemus Point and Christopher Valvo (the late Helen Yaworsky Valvo); seven grandchildren; Taylor and Marcus Miller, Gavin Mendell, Austin Lindell, Kendall and Hayden Valvo and Allona Bearfield.

She is additionally survived by siblings: Rosalie Valvo of Tonawanda, and Anthony and Joseph Valvo of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Mark and Tommy Valvo.

As per Dawn’s wishes a short service followed by a celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Old Tool Tavern 114 School St., East Randolph NY 14772 (covid restrictions have been followed)
