Patricia W. Johnson

MAYVILLE — Patricia W. Johnson, 74, of Mayville, passed away at her home, with family at her side after a lengthy illness.

She was born Aug. 3, 1945. in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Gerald and Alice Freeman Weise.

Pat had worked as a waitress at various local restaurants. She and her late husband, Conrad, had owned and operated C&P Collision and Johnson Race Engines in Mayville. She had also worked at Felton’s grape farm in Westfield.

She was a member of the Mayville American Legion William L. Travis Post 493 Auxiliary, the Mayville Veterans of Foreign War Post 8647 Auxiliary and the Hartfield Fire Department Auxiliary.

Pat enjoyed reading, stock car racing, cross stitching, decorating, shopping and time with her family.

She is survived by her four children: Charles Johnson of Mayville, Debra (Kevin) Wiseman of Westfield, Cynthia Erhard of Sherman, and Linda (Jamie) Erhard of Mayville; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry Weise.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad “Connie” Johnson, whom she married Aug. 6, 1963, in Jessup, Ga.; one grandson, Shawn O’Shaney; and two sisters: Sharon Weise Aldrich VanVeghal and Pamela Weise Milliman.

There will be no services observed at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
