Audrey A. Hallett

Audrey A. Hallett, 91, of Tanglewood Manor, Jamestown, formerly of S. Stockton Cassadaga Road, Sinclairville, went home to be with Jesus, Friday, Mar 27, 2020.

She was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Lenus E. and Ebba C. Nelson Danielson. She was a 1946 graduate of Jamestown High School.

Audrey was retired from the shop-office at MRC.

She was a member of the Kabob Gospel Tabernacle, where she played the organ, was the financial secretary and treasurer and instrumental in bringing Healing Hearts Ministries Church of Cassadaga Valley into Kabob.

Audrey was a woman who loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She loved to be able to witness her faith to others, play the organ, read her bible, sing, bake cookies with her grandkids, and help others as much as possible. Audrey loved her church and Tanglewood families. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her, loved to use her quick wit to make you laugh and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Heaven gained an angel!

Wife of 47 years to the late Rev. Irwin Hallett whom she married Aug. 23, 1969, and who died Mar. 11, 2016; mother of Valerie (late James) Lebak of Bath, Kathy Cross of Sinclairville and Sharon (John) Sprague of Westfield; stepmother of Karen (Andrew) Roberts of Osprey, Fla., Keith (Vicki) of Vancouver, Wash., and the late David Hallett; sister of the late Bernice Diffenderfer. Audrey is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 30 step-great- grandchildren; and six great- great-stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by twin great-granddaughters: Moana and Rigby Cross.

A private funeral service will be held at Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Audrey’s son-in-law, Pastor John Sprague will officiate. Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery.
