Dennis B. “Denny” “Fuzzy” Pugh

Denny was born Oct. 10, 1956, in Westfield, N.Y,. to the late Harry and Myrna Baum Pugh. He was raised in Sherman, attended Sherman Central Schools and graduated from Sherman High School.

A man of many talents. He was a “Mr. Fix-it” and enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. Creative by nature, he enjoyed repairing things around his home.

He also enjoyed woodworking, puzzles and games. Denny was a hard working individual working in various fields throughout his life including off shore oil and gas wells, long distance truck driving, construction and explosives.

Denny is survived by his longtime companion, Laura B. Hannold; two stepchildren; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three aunts: Barbie (Paul), Renalda (Oral) and Genalda; four brothers; three sisters; nieces and nephews; also a longtime friend, Bill (Debbie) Phelps; and his dog, “Smudge.”

There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
