Melody Ewer Clardy

Melody Ewer Clardy, 72 of Jamestown, N.Y., died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at UPMC Hamot, Erie Pa.

She was born July 29, 1947, and grew up in Watts Flats, N.Y. She graduated from Panama Central School in 1965.

She is survived by her son, Todd West and his wife, Tammy of Lakewood, N.Y.; two grandsons: Brandon and Elijah West; two sisters: Gale Dyke and husband, Larry of Warren, Pa. and Gloria Vetilaro and husband, Dan of Jamestown N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Clardy; both of her parents, Basil and Anita Ewer; her sister, Marla Burnett; and her brother, Jim Ewer.

Most recently Melody worked for the Resource Center and previously worked for Kwik Fill, Brigiotta’s Market and Walmart. She was the owner of Wests Grocery in Panama, N.Y., and also worked at Falconer Plate Glass.

Melody loved garage sales, bingo, fishing and NASCAR.
