Mark R. Wallace

Mark R. Wallace, 53, of Conewango Valley passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 in his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

A lifelong area resident he was born Feb. 8, 1966 in Jamestown the son of Theodore D. “Ted” Wallace Sr. and Catherine Stephens Williams.

Mark was a 1984 graduate of Randolph High School and was employed by Cherry Creek Wood Craft in South Dayton.

Surviving are his wife Doreen S. Kusek Wallace whom he married Nov. 15, 2002; a daughter Heather Tatchell; granddaughter Zaria Tatchell; two stepsons, Brian Fortuna, and Kevin Fortuna; several step-grandchildren; his mother Catherine Williams and step-father Paul Williams of Ellington, his step mother Mary Wallace of Falconer; three brothers: Steven (Bonnita) Wallace, Roy (Emma) Boutelle all of Kennedy; Paul (Anshi) Williams of Conewango; two sisters, Paula Wallace of Falconer, Cathy (Brett) Beightol of Kennedy, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Theodore D. “Ted” Wallace Sr.; a brother Theodore D. “Ted” Wallace Jr.; two sisters, Donna Wolfe and Karen Sorensen.

A private graveside memorial service will be held in Kiantone Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
