Judy Ann (Arrance) Flagg Chadwick

She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Cherry Creek, the daughter of the late Bert E. and Doris V. (Blood) Arrance. She was a 1954 graduate of Cassadaga Central School.

Judy retired from the Resource Center in Jamestown, where she had worked a s Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. Following her retirement, she had worked for several years as a receptionist at Heritage Village in Gerry, N.Y. Judy attended the Conewango Baptist Church and enjoyed writing poetry, painting and riding horses.

She is survived by Four Children; Monte “Bud” Flagg and wife Phyllis of Glenn Allen, Missouri, Darcie Uhl and husband Peter of Memphis, N.Y., Janeen Cohen and husband Mark of Amherst, N.Y., and Chris Flagg and wife Aubrey of Mt. Alton, Pa., two step children; Christina King of Alexander, N.Y., Kevin Chadwick of Silver Creek, 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Douglas Arrance of Hopewell, N.C., and a sister, Grace Hanson of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith W. Chadwick, whom she married on Aug. 24, 1984, and who preceded her on Jan. 16, 2015, two grandchildren; Narelle Flagg and Brandon Cohen, two sisters, Lila Smith and Caroline Wallace and two brothers, Bert “Sonny” Arrance and Danny Arrance.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 15, 2019) from the Conewango Baptist Church. The Rev. Marc Loranger, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Rutledge Cemetery in Conewango.
