Sarah L. Todaro

Sarah was born Feb. 6, 1932, in South Ripley, N.Y., one of 12 children of the late Eugene and Anna Lee Perdue Ecker.

She was a member of St. James Church and had been very active in the John W. Tiffany Post 53 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by her five children: Kenneth (Diane) Mathews of Lakewood, Rebecca Roberson, Patricia (Larry) Schupp and Darla Mathews, all of Jamestown, and Donna Mathews of Falconer; three stepsons: Gerald (Barbara) Todaro, Thomas (Beth) Todaro and Frank (Melinda) Todaro, all of Columbus, Ohio; as well as several grandchildren, great-grand- children; and great-greatgrandchildren.

Sarah was preceded in death in 1969 by her first husband, Kenneth Mathews Sr. and by her second husband, Thomas A. Todaro, Sr., in 2007; a son, Kirk Mathews in 2008; and her eleven siblings: George, Harry, Lyle, Robert and Richard Ecker, Alice Lawson, Gertrude Lamb, June Phelps, Erma Ecker, Clara Blanchard and Roberta Rotunda.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Darrell Duffy and Pastor Jeff Rotunda will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
