William H. Schlifke Jr.

He was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Buffalo, N.Y., and was the son of the late William H. Schlifke and Georgia Barth Schlifke.

Bill was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown Community College and was a U.S Navy veteran, serving from 1967-69. He worked in the ski industry in Vermont and New York for over 40 years, most recently as a ski instructor at Peak’ n Peak in Clymer. Bill enjoyed fly tying, trout fishing and sailing on lakes Champlain and Erie.

Surviving are his uncle, Richard Barth; and cousins: Peter Barth and Marilyn Cutright.

No memorial service will be held and inurnment was at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
