Randall A. “Randy” Lusk

Randall A. “Randy” Lusk, 63, of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away at 5:40 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, in the Twinbrook Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Erie, Pa., following a courageous battle with cancer.

A lifelong area resident, he was born March 1, 1956, in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of Joyce Sorensen Lusk and the late Roy Lusk.

Randy was a 1975 graduate of Jamestown High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1975-79.

He was previously employed by Pinson Communications in Florida, Dahlstrom Manufacturing Company, Phoenix Metal Fabricating and Leonard’s Construction.

He will be remembered as one of the most prolific bowlers in the Jamestown area having bowled several 300 games and an 822 series. He also won a championship while bowling for the Jamestown High School Bowling Team. He will be remembered as an avid Buffalo Bills, New York Mets and Tampa Bay Rays fan, as well as an avid golfer.

Surviving are his mother, Joyce Lusk of Ashville, N.Y.; two sons: Andrew I. Lusk of Jamestown and Brian Law of W.Va.; four grandchildren; two sisters: Sharon (late Gary) Jensen of New Hampshire, and Debbie (John) McDonald of Ashville, N.Y.; his former, wife, Kim; seven nieces and nephews; as well as his two fur babies: Simon and Sally.

Besides his father, Roy who died Dec. 19, 2005, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Terry Lusk in 1955 and David Lusk in 2011; and a nephew, Rich Jensen in 2015.

As per Randy’s wishes, he donated his body to the University at Buffalo School of Medicine for medical research.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by his family.
