Patricia A. Gardiner

Patricia A. Gardiner, 73, of Warren, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 10, 2019, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.

Patricia was born June 2, 1945. in Warren, Pa., the daughter of Clinton and Almeda Farnsworth Beach. Her mother passed away when she was two, and her father was unable to care for two small children alone. Pat was adopted and raised by her uncle and aunt, Guy and Alice Marie Beach of East Randolph, N.Y. Her biological brother William Roy Beach, was adopted and raised by James and Dorotha Hage of Westfield, N.Y. Pat and her brother Bill have maintained a lifelong relationship.

Pat was a 1963 graduate of Randolph Central School. She was employed as a psychiatric aide at Warren State Hospital for 21, years, retiring in 2001. She was also employed with Area Agency on Aging doing various social service jobs. Pat was an active and supportive member of North Warren Presbyterian Church and the North Warren Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary since 1991. She enjoyed her church, computers and spending time with her many friends, her grandchildren, and her Yorkie, Henry.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Michelle Gray of Youngsville, Pa.; a son, Joseph W. Gardiner of Florida; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: William R. Hage and his wife, Norma of Lakeland, Fla., and Robert G. Beach and his wife, Jean of Randolph, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a son, Charles Gardiner; and a daughter, Tami Gardiner.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa., on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral and committal service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at 11 a.m., at North Warren Presbyterian Church, 200 S. State St., Warren, Pa., with the Rev. Burfoot S. “Buddy” Ward, III, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, Pa.
