Gregory England Darling “Bandit”

Gregory England “Bandit” Darling, 60, of Jamestown passed away, Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in UPMC Chautauqua.

He was born July 17, 1958, in Liberty, N.Y., the son of the late Charley A. and Marie A. LaMountain Darling.

Greg had been employed by Spray Tech in Jamestown.

Greg had a passion for horses. He enjoyed going to the horse track and OTB. He also enjoyed going to bingo with his sister, Diane. He was a sports enthusiast and will be remembered for his sense of humor and making people laugh.

Surviving is his loving sister and caregiver, Diane Peru of Jamestown; brothers: Keith (Cindy) Darling of Kiantone, Mike (Sharon) Darling of Jamestown, Robert (Carol) Darling of Jamestown, Charles (Judy) Darling of Fluvanna, Ronnie (Judy) Darling of Jamestown, and David (Bonnie) Darling of Jamestown; a son, Greg Darling of Frewsburg; five daughters: Megan Tilyou of Jamestown, Macey Darling of Gowanda, Melissa Darling of Jamestown, Julie Darling of Warren, and Mindy Daniels of Tupper Lake, N.Y.; several grandchildren: Adrianna Darling, Alexis Darling, Hailey Darling, Kenneth Johnson Jr., Caidence DiDomenico; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mickey Darling; and a brother-in-law, Paul Peru.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sephulchre Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials may be donated to a charity of one’s choice.
