Donald N. Gebhardt

Don was born Aug. 13, 1944, to the late Donald Gebhardt and Margaret (Patterson) Barrett. Don was a lifelong Warren resident and a Warren High School graduate. He was retired from Struthers Wells Corp and SKF.

Don loved hunting, fishing, photography and anything involving nature. He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, as well as, the S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie fishing club. Don also enjoyed boating on the Kinzua Reservoir. He adored all animals, especially his dogs. Most of all, Don loved spending time playing cards with his family and friends.

Don is survived by his companion, Carol Stone; his children: Donald S. Gebhardt, Heidi (Gebhardt) Sanders (Steve), Christal (Gebhardt) Whitmore, Bobbi (Gebhardt) Edstrom (Sean) and Shawn Gebhardt (Heather); his siblings: Suellyn D’Andrea, John Barrett (Diane) and Richard Barrett (Jennifer); his grandchildren: John, Kathy (Gustavo), Maryann (Boyae), Daniel, Shaun, Amelia, Paul, Luke, Chandler and William; his great-grandson (Langston); along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his wife, Susen (Johnson) Gebhardt and his brother- in-law, Kenneth D’ Andrea.

Friends and family will be received from noon- 12:15 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr., Warren, PA 16365. A memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. with the Rev. Susan Scofield, pastor, officiating. A luncheon reception immediately follows with the sharing of memories.
