Elaine M. Larson, 90, formerly of 156 Price Ave., West Ellicott, died Sunday Sept. 2, 2018, in the Lutheran Retirement Home.

An area resident all of her life, she was born May 29, 1928, in Jamestown, the daughter and youngest child of the late H. Samuel and Gerda Adolfson Samuelson.

In earlier years Elaine loved to play the piano and listen to classical music. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and made beautiful afghans for each member of her family. She loved having a house full of kids. She and Rennie always attended the sporting events and activities of their children and grandchildren. She loved her family most of all, and of course, her cat Annie.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hultquist Place and the Lutheran Home for their care and compassion in caring for our mother and grandmother.
