Antonina Triscari (Bevacqua)

Antonina was known by her close family and husband by Nina. Her friends called her Ann, Anna, and Nina. 

Nina was born Jan. 11, 1935, in Tortorici, Sicily, to Antonino and Mary Bevacqua. 

Nina married Carmelo Triscari, April 25, 1959, in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Jamestown, N.Y. Nina worked for National Worsted Mills for many years.  She later worked for over 30 years at Sandee’s Bakery where she was part of a community of close family/friends.  Nina treasured her family and especially her four son’s and six grandchildren who she loved spending time with.  Nina was a parishioner of St. James Roman Catholic Church.

Nina is survived by her four sons: Salvatore Triscari of Jamestown, Antonino “Tony” Triscari (Wendy) of Greenwich, Conn., Sebastian “Busty” Triscari (Sarah) of Centerport, N.Y., and Carmelo “Carl” Triscari (Linda) of New Y ork City;  two brothers: Sebastian “Busty” Bevacqua (Carrie Waid) of Jamestown and Russell Bevacqua (Jill) of Carlsbad Calif.; and her grandchildren: Tyler Triscari, Andrew Triscari, Melissa Triscari, Carl Triscari, Elizabeth Triscari and Jon Triscari. Nina has many family members still in Sicily.

Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo Triscari; her parents; her brother, James “Santo” Bevacqua (Karen); and her sister, Sara Vail (Dick).

Calling hours will be at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Jamestown, N.Y., on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on  Saturday, at 10 a.m., at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Jamestown, N.Y.

Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Jamestown, N.Y.
