Ronald C. Dechow

He was born Oct. 27, 1949, in Gowanda, N.Y., the son of the late Robert and Betty (Schumacher) Dechow.

Mr. Dechow was a life-time dairy farmer having operated his family farm, Ledeco Farm in Napoli, for many years.

He was a member of the Cattaraugus County Holstein Club as well as the NYS Holstein Assocoation.

Mr. Dechow is survived by a son, Ted Dechow of Little Valley, N.Y.; and a daughter, Janette (Luke) Johnson of Unadilla, N.Y. Also surviving are five brothers; Gary Dechow of Randolph, N.Y., Kenneth (Lori) Dechow of Randolph, N.Y., Ricky Dechow of Cattaraugus, N.Y., David (Kathy) Dechow of Cattaraugus, N.Y., and Dennis (Christine) Dechow of Fishers, Ind. Also surviving is a sister, Linda Hall of Randolph, N.Y.; and three grandchildren: Derek, Braeden and Xander; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., at Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley, NY. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 1 p.m., from the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Trenchard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus County Ho-stein Club.
