Debra E. “Debbie” John

STEAMBURG — Debra E. “Debbie” John, 55, of South Loop Road, Steamburg, passed away unexpectedly, Friday (June 8, 2018) in the Olean General Hospital emergency room.

She was born March 5, 1963 in Florida, the daughter of the late Edward Johnson and Virginia Fox Johnson of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla.

Debbie was a 1973 graduate of Normal Community School in Normal, Ill., and received her associates degree from Lincoln University in Normal, Ill. She was presently employed by SKF Aero Space in Falconer as an inspector/grinder.

She was a member of the Levant Wesleyan Church in Falconer, where she was a member of the Children’s Ministry Team. In her spare time she enjoyed flower gardening and doing bead work.

Dan and Debbie had purchased a retirement home together in Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., in December of 2017 and had planned on moving in the very near future.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla.; husband Daniel John, of Steamburg and Lake Panasoffke, Fla.; her children; Kenneth Pate, Qwade Greenman, Dalton Greenman, Nicole Allison, Sarah Pate, Aimee Greenman; stepchildren: Josh John Sr., Jordan John, Brianne John, Keana John, Keri Jimerson, Sonny George and Kalie Williams; as well as many grandchildren and a great-grandson.

The family will be present to receive family and friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday (June 15, 2018) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph, from where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Al Meyers, pastor of Levant Wesleyan Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillside Haven Cemetery, Bunker Hill Road, Steamburg, N.Y.
