Mary Ann Brown
MAYVILLE — Mary Ann Brown, 81 of Westfield, formerly of Mayville, died Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Absolut Care in Westfield.
She was born June 1, 1936, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Horvath Myers.
Mary Ann had been a clerk with several local businesses. She enjoyed antiquing, history, reading Louis L’Amour novels, covered bridges, her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four sons: Lavern (Bonnie) Brown, Ron (Dorie) Brown, Paul (Melissa) Brown and Keith Brown; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She had grown up with eight siblings.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 2 p.m., at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Pastor Tim Ryan will officiate.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service (1-2 p.m.) on Tuesday.
Burial will be in Mayville Cemetery.
