Claudine Marguerite Butters

Claudine Marguerite Butters, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, 77, formerly of Frewsburg and Falconer, passed away Tuesday (July 1, 2014), in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Coudray, France, the daughter of Jean and Madeleine Teurquetil Perissere.

Prior to retirement in 1996, Claudine was employed by the Frewsburg Rest Home.

Surviving are her husband, Richard T. Butters Sr. whom she married Dec. 30, 1959 in France; two daughters: Sophie (James) Cusimano of Falconer, and Stephanie (William) Hallman of Reading, Pa.; three sons: Richard T. (Tracy) Butters Jr. of Kirbyville, Texas, Robert Butters of Buffalo, and David (Claudia) Butters of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; two brothers: Yvon Perissere and Gigi Perissere, both of France.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pierre Perissere and an infant sister, Nicole Perissere.

A private funeral service will be held in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt, chaplain of the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center, will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
