Amy L. Hitchcock

Amy L. Hitchcock, 42, of 36 Kinney St., Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly in her home on June 18, 2014.

She was born April 17, 1972, the daughter of William and Catherine Hitchcock.

She is survived by a son, Tory Arrance; a sister, Lisa Hitchcock; her significant other, James ”Jimbo” Car-row; her grandmother, Lillian Hitchcock; her aunt and uncle, Thomas and Maryanne Nazzaro; and her first cousins: Tricia (Harry) Bailey, Teel (Brian) Wol-cott and Thomas (Faith) Nazzaro.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mary and Thomas Nazzaro and Edward Hitchcock.

She was a 1990 graduate of Randolph Central School and earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Jamestown Community College. She was a master gardener with a passion for flowers, a collector of antiques, and she loved animals. Amy lived life to the fullest as a free spirit. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at the Lutheran Social Services chapel, 715 Falconer St., James-town. A reception will fol-low immediately after the service.
