CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— GERRY — A town resident wanted by Lakewood-Busti Police Department has been picked up by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies.

At about 9:36 a.m. Saturday, deputies observed Jeffrey Holmberg, 29, within a motor vehicle on Nobles Road. The vehicle was stopped and Holmberg was arrested. While speaking with the vehicle’s occupants, deputies found that one individual had an active order of protection against Holmberg. Holmberg was additionally charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned.

— A Jamestown man is facing drug charges after being an alleged traffic violation earlier this month.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported Sunday that at 2 a.m. Nov. 20 they stopped 39-year-old Christopher Decker on Allen Street in Ellicott. Upon further investigation it was found that Decker had a suspended license, was in possession of a controlled substance and had a warrant out of Meadville, Pa.

Decker was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing and was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail where he wait to be extradited to Pennsylvania.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

— Three individuals involved in a September incident on Interstate 86 have been charged with two being located this week in Buffalo.

New York State Police reported Saturday they responded to a domestic incident on Sept. 16 near Randolph. An investigation revealed that as Frank Felt, 48, of Salamanca was driving Benjamin Finch and Kaitlyn Felt to Jamestown, the passengers both began to strike him, causing him to pull over the vehicle.

Finch and the younger Felt then took the elder to the ground and kicked his vehicle repeatedly, causing damage. Finch and Kaitlyn Felt then fled the scene.

Felt exhibited multiple signs of drug impairment and was placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests. Further investigation then revealed that Kaitlyn Felt was the protected party in a stay-away order against Frank Felt.

Frank Felt was processed at Jamestown barracks and charged with DWAI-drugs and second-degree criminal contempt. He was issued traffic tickets and appearance tickets and released. He was scheduled to be in the town of Randolph Court on a later date and was not injured in the altercation.

Attempts to locate Finch and Kaitlyn Felt were unsuccessful until Thursday when Troopers stopped to check on a disabled vehicle on Interstate 190 in Buffalo. Both were placed under arrest, transported to State Police at Fredonia and processed. Finch and Kaitlyn Felt were then arraigned in the town of Randolph Court and were scheduled to be back in the town of Randolph Court next month.
