JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Angel Figueroa, no age, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded at 4:10 a.m. Sunday to Barrett Avenue for a domestic incident. There was a confirmed stay away order of protection for Figueroa to stay away from the residence and a person who resides there. Figueroa reportedly had a machete and allegedly prevented anyone else from answering the door. Figueroa was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Sue L. Foster, 48, of Randolph, was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Officers responded at 8:33 p.m. Friday to a reported larceny at Walmart. It was learned that Foster allegedly took $471.60 in merchandise past all points of purchase. Foster was found to be trespassed from the store due to prior incidents, and was additionally charged with burglary. Foster is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MINA — Brett M. Cornor, 22, of Union City, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, speed not reasonable/prudent and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies and firefighters at 8:55 p.m. March 31 responded to Mine French Creek Road in the town of Mina for a rollover crash. Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle overturned in the ditch/culvert and found the operator to have fled the scene. The operator was located nearby and found to have minor injuries. Through investigation it was determined that Cornor was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and said intoxication likely contributed to the accident. Cornor was evaluated by EMS personnel and was later taken into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ MINA — Arun K. Singh, 36, of Mina, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies at 12:47 a.m. on Friday responded to a report of a person violating a valid order of protection. It was found that Singh intentionally violated a complete stay away order of protection by making contact with the protected party. Singh was taken into custody an transported to Chautauqua County Jail where he is being held pending an arraignment.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Amber Hilt, 26, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Hilt was stopped Thursday on Main Road in Silver Creek for speeding and after reportedly failing several field sobriety tests was taken into custody. Hilt was transported to police barracks and later provided a breath sample of 0.09%. Hilt is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
