CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

¯ DUNKIRK — A motor vehicle accident on Route 5 early Thursday has led to charges for a Dunkirk woman. On Saturday, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported responding to the crash on Route 5 in the town of Dunkirk. Deputies identified the driver of the involved vehicle to be Kimberly A. Ryczko, 29. Following an investigation into the crash, Deputies charged Ryczko with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs, speed not reasonable or prudent, and moving from lane unsafely. Ryczko will answer her charges in Dunkirk Town Court.

¯ HANOVER — A pair from Dunkirk are facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Saturday afternoon. Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle on Route 5 and 20 for a violation. The operator, Cierra R. Newcomb, 21, was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. A passenger in the vehicle, Brandon R. Perry, 24, was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and marijuana. Both subjects were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — A Pennsylvania man has been charged after a suspicious situation that occurred more than a week ago in this Chautauqua County town. On Saturday evening, sheriff’s deputies reported responding to an incident and vehicle complaint on Route 394 around 8 p.m. Sept. 24. Deputies identified the driver of the involved vehicle to be Anthony Pollaro, 28, of Tidioute. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies charged Pollaro with driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs. Pollaro will answer his charges in Chautauqua Town Court.

¯ A Bemus Point woman is facing charges. At 2:26 a.m. Sept. 30, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle commit several lane violations as well as having a brake light out. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the operator to be Amanda J. Carlson, 20. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies charged Carlson with, DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely and inadequate brake lights. Carlson will further answer charges in Pomfret Town Court.

¯ At about 2:49 a.m. Sept. 19, deputies observed a vehicle commit several lane violations as well as failing to signal a turn. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified MaryCatherine Thie, 20, of Buffalo as its operator. Following an investigation into the incident, Deputies arrested and charged Thie with DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely, and failing to use turn signal. Thie will further answer her charges in Pomfret Town Court.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — At about 3:37 a.m. Friday, deputies checked a vehicle parked in the northbound diving lane of Route 394. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Daniel C. Miller and an investigation found him to be intoxicated. Miller was taken into custody and further investigation found him to be in possession of a controlled substance. After processing Daniel Miller, 24, of Sinclairville was released with appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of North Harmony Court at a later date to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, parking on pavement and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

¯ At about 11:09 p.m. Thursday, deputies stopped a vehicle in the City of Jamestown for failing to stop at a stop sign. The operator was identified as Christopher Gibbons and investigation found him to be intoxicated. Gibbons, 31, of Clymer was taken into custody and after processing was released with traffic tickets. Christopher Gibbons will appear in City of Jamestown Court at a later date to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and fail to stop at a stop sign.
