CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ SHERIDAN — Michael W. Henneberry, 35, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies were investigating a complaint at 5 a.m. Sept. 16 on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan. Deputies made contact with a person determined to be impaired, and further investigation discovered he was operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs. Henneberry was released with tickets to appear in Sheridan Town Court later.
¯ FRENCH CREEK — Matthew C. Pierce, 33, of French Creek, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded at 8:28 a.m. Monday to New Buffalo Road in the town of French Creek for a report of an unwanted person. An investigation found that Pierce was allegedly in violation of a court order of protection while at the residence. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
